the monadnock inn has a cozy atmosphere and a lovely design. our room was clean and well laid out, with a very comfortable bed. the location is ideal, nestled in a quiet area near the historic jaffrey center. i loved that the bathroom had a clawfoot tub, which added a nice touch to our stay. definitely a pleasant experience overall.

I also noticed the exterior needed significant work. large potholes in the driveway really detracted from the overall experience. Staff presence was lacking at times, making me feel like I was in an abandoned house. I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone who wants a polished experience. With time, I think this place could shine, but it needs a lot of work first.

The inn had this delightful charm that made it cozy, especially the giant four-poster bed that felt like a dream to sleep on. The dinner was to die for! ! We had all you can eat Prime Rib, and every bite was just exceptional. The chef even came out to greet us. It felt personal, you know?

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but for what we got, it was still reasonable.
